I had very little idea what this game would be like before i got it....I was very pleasantly surprised.
Heaps of fun...Huge(i do mean huge) free roaming area with loads to do .....even when story mode is completed.
Lots of humour & good ways to kill pixellated bad guys.

Huge game, great fun, lots of flaws - By: monkey, 12 May 2010 Just Cause 2 is at its best when you'rein complete freeform play. You're flying a chopper across an enemy camp, blasting fortifications & resources, parachuting out, landing on a fighter jet that is taxiing down the run way, & then hijacking it. It's at its worst when you're trying to complete a linear-based mission & watching the terrible cut-scenes. If you can get past the awful start of the game (linear) & get into the fun, you'll have 30+ hours of entertainment.
Excellent - By: Jack Hair, 06 May 2010 I didnt play the first Just Cause, but you dont really need to have played it to understand this one. The story line isnt perfect, but its good enought to carry on playing. The game takes ages to complete, more than a normal game. Ive clocked up 20 odd hours & only got to 18% completion. Mainly because ive been messing about, racing cars & getting achievements.
The jobs are great fun. You runin to a settlement, blow stuff up & run away again. I didnt get bored doing this, but those of you who are impatient or want everything to be different would get annoyed with the missions. Most of them are the same, taking over a big factory, dock or airstrip.
The weapons are great, the limited edition assault rifle & pistol are very powerful & worth the in-game price tag. The enemies can become irritating though, after playing through the game they get progressively harder & harder to the point where you need to find some cover every 5 seconds.
The map is endless. Well, until you reach the end. There is so much to explore & quite a few easter eggs. I found a hot air balloonin the middle of a jungle, hoppedin & sailed through the sky. Theres so many vehicles to choose from too, my favourites are the jet planes.
Overall, this game is great. It was definately worth the buy & ive not stopped playing it. I would recommend the game to everyone, although if you dont like spending more than 10 hours on a game I would not buy it.

First off this game is alot of fun. It has everything that is needed to make it fun. But it is missing something & that is a good story. Its short & a little disapointing. But everything else the gameplay, the scale, the insane physics engine etc etc make the game fun if a little short lived.
