i really like this game me & my kids play it for me personally i like the wii fit step i like the resonable pace & effectivenes as a workout but the fun that keeps me trying over & over again its helped me alotin my weight loss i also enjoy rythm kung fu even tho for the lif eof me i cant seem to get into the rythm, hula hoop is fantastic but exhausting alot of fun to play i also like rythm parade & find it a fun alternative to the step
my kid slove hula hoop rythm kung fu & cycling, jogging the only game i couldnt getin to was boxing i much prefer that on wii sports resort
its worth it if you are into sport style games & use the step as a form of exercise otherwise the fun factor could run out fast

It Really Works - By: Mrs. Jacqueline Ann Seccombe, 09 Jul 2010
This is amazing, my husband got this for me to help me getin shape, I don't really like going to the gym, so being able to do thisin my own home at whatever time of day to suit is so convenient, no more feeling self consciousin front of others, I decided to aim for 1/2 hour a day, the first few times I was struggling by the end, but persevered & within a week I was doing the 1/2 hour no problem, I've kept it up for 5 weeks now & its really starting to make a difference, my body is really toning up, I have more shape & I also have more stamina, I vary my routine & try to do a bit from all the different category's, yoga, muscle, running, games & dance, it must be good, for me to keep it up every single day, I would definitely recommend it to others, if you are serious about getting into shape & have the will power to keep it up you will see the benefits, try it
Excellent for weightloss and maintaining a good shape for you - By: sweetnativewoman, 08 Jul 2010
I have to say I have more praise for this game than I can put into words. Being extremely overweight when I first used the Wii fit, helped me exercise without leaving the house as I didn't feel comfortable doing so. I knew the Wii Fit Plus would be great for me as it came with the long awaited "my routine" workout. Once I started my workout with 19 yoga & muscle exercises & aerobics, the Wii Fit Plus helped me lose 20 lbs off my pre-pregnancy weight. More importantly it has also helped me gain confidence to want to exercise more. Now I have joined a gym & I go between 3 to 5 times a week. I still use the Wii Fit for the muscle & yoga exercises before my workout & I use it occasionally on the weekends depending on my weekly gym visits.
Thankfully the Wii fit plus was released so I could carry on with my fitness. After having my baby, I had all sorts of problems due to pregnancy. The gentle yoga & muscle exercises helped with the back & pelvic pain I was dealing with. If it wasn't for the exercises that targeted the pelvic area, I know I would still be suffering from pelvic pain. Now I suffer only the occasional back pain when I have stretched wrong or my mattress needs rotating; otherwise, I can say I am pain free where my back is concerned.
To the person who is overweight & not sure that you can do this, you can. I was extremely unfit & I would only walk to work & to get groceries. Even then, I had to take things slowly & use pain medicine regularly. It wasn't easy the first time I use the Wii Fit, but as long as you give yourself a day or two recovery time after the first time you use it before you get into the rhythm, then you will be fine. It is also important to stretch before & after exercise, this will help minimize the chance of injury & release lactic acid you've built up during exercise. Once you've stretch post workout, your muscles will not ache as bad. I neglected to do the cool-down my first few times & I really suffered until I realized that cooling down is essential. Since I started on my weight loss journey through pregnancy till now, I've lost 85 lbs (including pregnancy weight). At least 20 lbs of that is due to the Wii Fit Plus.
If you would like to know the workout I do/did, here is my entire workout on the Wii Fit Plus. My routine: Deep Breathing, Tricep Extension, Half moon Pose, Sun Salutation, Triangle, Chair, Palm Tree, Cobra, Bridge, Crocodile Twist, Jackknife, Downward-facing dog, side lunge, Torso & waist twist, (I use the chair as support for the following exercises: standing knee, single leg twist, sideways leg lift, single leg extension), & warrior. Then I go to aerobic screen & do 10 minutes hula hoop, 10 minutes boxing & the step plus. For cool-down, I do the sun salutation, warrior, deep breathing & 3 minutes balance breathing. On gym days I do everything except for the 10 mins hula hoop/boxing & step plus as I do an 45 mins to an hour at the gym plus walking to & from the gym (almost 5 km/3 miles)
For the next game, I would like to see that the aerobic exercises to be added to the "my routine." It would also be nice if we could select to turn on or off the trainers additional info & encouragement. The trainer would be more helpful if the trainer would give more accurate feedback during certain poses as they are hard to see if you arein the correct area when your head is suppose to be down.
