Game controls are good & allow plenty of flexibility & difficultyin their use.
Lack of save functionin shorter games really annoying as longer matches do take time to play - test matches especially (I know they doin real life, but I'm not paid to play the game - unfortunately!)
Graphics are ok & stats features will please anoraks everywhere.

Excellent cricket game for the PS3. Brilliant graphics & very easy to use. Hope they make more cricket game for the PS3.

I am not happy with this game as the graphics are not good at all & does not match the standard of cricket 02,05 or 07.It is not worth.
Hillarious! - By: m.d, 28 Sep 2009 I do think this game is a real step upin graphics from previous cricket games. I like all the different match lengths you can play. The players themselves look actually quite similair to real life.
However bad things are:
1. Why do the opponents always attempt runs which are never possible & then end up getting themselves run out.
2. You can't help but feel that the players look like they are made out of clay!
3. The commentary is soooooo annoying!
4. The atmospherein the stadium is always the same - dull.
However this game is worth having a look at foor these reasons!

Norris, 28 Sep 2009 Ashes Cricket 09 is very good, having not had a cricket game on play station for a while it was nice to have one back, i have been waiting a while for one to come out, the game is more improved then the last one, the only thing it misses is that you can not play domestic cricket, for example you can't be yorkshire or durham or anybody, its just international teams only, but still good though, you can play a wide range of games & the challenges are really good to do as well, one which is very tricky. Overall if you love the game of cricket like i do, you will enjoy knocking the Aussies for six .
