Madworld - By: Jelani, 21 Aug 2010
I bought Madworld from thegamecollection
Delivery was much faster than i usually expected which was great.
In Madworld, you control a character named Jack who has signed up for the deathwatch games.
The gameplay is simple hack & slash through enemy after enemyin glourious black & white with splashes of red.
I loved the game, the controls are tight, graphically it is great. There are great challenges called BloodBath Challenges that are demonstrated by a character who has Kenny form South Parks unfortunate habit of repeatedly dying. Plot is a little uneven to me but i still thought the game good, with such violence relevent to the god of war series.
Throughout Madworld there are deathwatch challenges that appearin every level, while fun it is a shame they dont unlock any extra content or such extras. Still this is a game worth buying & is one of the better games for the Wii Madworld (Wii)
A Cult Sleeper - By: Grimketel, 05 Aug 2010
Ok, it's violent, ok, it's gruesome but it is also very funny & great to playin a violent & gruesome kind of way. Why it didn't sell out on release I have no idea but give it a couple of years & this will be the game every retro Wii collector will want to own.
Hardcore game - By: Pillinn, 05 Aug 2010
This game is really hardcore. Kind of strange on a Wii but I like that. The fact that I can also buy a really bloody game for the Wii is really great, it's not just kid's stuff. The controls are slick with the motion sensor. Shaking the remote & all that is really fun. I say this is a must game for hardcore gamers on the Wii (I know it sounds strange, hardcore gamers on Wii). The price of the game is also really cheap, a real bargain.
It's awful, don't waste your money - By: Stomper42, 27 May 2010
Don't buy this game, it's poorly executed. The fighting may be fun for a short while, but the fun turns to boredom very quickly. There is no long term playability & the gameplay is poor. Just avoid it, unless it's so cheap you don't mind wasting your money.
Fast, furious and fun, for a while. - By: Mark Lockett, 23 May 2010
This is a fun game. Full of dark humour & blood. Make no mistake, this game revelsin violence,in fact that is the whole point. You score depending on how much violence you met out to the bad guys.
the graphics are excellent, the cuts scenes are quite amusing & instructive & the characters are fun, if stereotyped. There is some good area design & the various attacks & weapons are enjoyable to learn & use. Each boss & area needs some strategic thinking...but not much. The only problem that I had with this game is that much of the time you can get away with just "waggling" the Wiimote around madly. You can control different moves with different "waggles", but they are all so devastating to the enemy, that even bosses can be beaten with a certain amount of random "waggling".
For the age rating, it needs more depth than this, after the hundredth time that you smash someones head onto a spike, the novelty value has worn off & it just becomes repetitive & a bit too easy.
So, it is fun for a while, but don't go buying this thinking that it will keep your attention for very long.
