Disgusted - By: A. WARD, 20 Nov 2008
Amazon needs to stamp down on this sort of overinflated rip off.
In the mean time, I'd advise anyone looking at purchasing this item to call around high street suppliers & check their stocks, Collectors Edition, where available, is still selling for around £40-£50.
Poor Form - By: N. J. Kirk, 15 Nov 2008
Very bad form Amazon, I didn't get a chance to get this despite having signed up for notification. I'm actually very pleased now I bought the standard WoLK from Game now (which arrived on time - unlike the one from your Jersey warehouse was likely to.) Loss of sales & customer satisfaction - not smart. :(
Meh - By: G. McDonough, 14 Nov 2008
I pre-ordered my CE from my local gamestation.
Rang them up a few days after Wotlk was announced, said I want to pre-order the "colelctors edition" & not the "Normal" edition. They said that was fine.
These things are seperate products, not optional goods for the people who pre-order first.
Pricing - By: Mrs. K. S. Cleaton, 14 Nov 2008
I completely agree with Paul St Clair Terry. DON'T buy from these sellers. Amazon themselves sold this at a great price, & is now being abused on their own website!
Anyonein their right minds knows that this game does NOT cost this much, & I'm surprised that Amazon lets this happen. Obviously it'd be hard to track, but even some way of reporting it would make sense.
Try ASDA or somewhere like that if you want to buy it online - at £44.91 for the collector's edition, I believe.
Legal Implications? - By: Mr. J. Allen, 13 Nov 2008
If these were concert tickets it would surely be considered touting. Its nothing short of rampant profiteering & its nothing short of sickening that Amazon allow this practice on their site.
