What a terrible game. So much buzz surrounds this rubbish for some reason, god knows why. There is absolutely nothing original about it, the locations are boring, the story is nonsense, the dialogue, controls & game play all blow. I honestly can't think of a single good thing about this, it's not scary or enjoyable at all. Totally forgettable & unreplayable, one of the worst games I've played.

yeah im half way through this game.........and ummmmm sort off sitting on the fence here
controls are easy picked up, but your character is'nt as user friendly as say modern warfare.........theres a slow mo button which is cool.
its not scary more edge of sit situation...........
and the graphics hmmmm not overly impressed.

This game is not scary. I bought this knowing nothing about the fear series or previous storylines. I bought this solely because i wanted to be scared.
There wasnt a single momentin the game sadly where i felt tense or neither was there a moment that made me jump. The horror aspect is there its just not been pulled off that well.
It did however keep me entertained, the gameplay is fun & the story kept me interested til the end. As a first person shooter its not that great, i guess you could say the horror 'aspect' makes it more original & different from other first person shooters.
The game is worth buyingin my oppinion now thats its old & much cheaper. Had i bought this when it first came out id have been very dissapointed & annoyed.

This game reeks of mediocrity. Ok so basically this game is nothing new, there is a reasonably ok shooting mechanic which gets increasingly repetitive & annoying & gives me very little to complain about or praise except for the sheer lack of any originality or flare. Basically you walk through room, shoot bad guys.... repeat. Then there are the occasional mech suit areasin which you jumpin a hugely overpowered suit thingy & shoot everything that moves for about ten minutes, this section is pointless since a retarded monkey using a wii mote could easily breeze through these parts. Ok so that the shooting bits, on to the 'story' a term i use lightly & the 'scare factor' which again loosely. The first mission of the game made me jump.... once, from then on all the freaky psychic bits & random Alma attacks were the same. As we all know repetition takes away shock & so I found myself bored of the whole affair after 10 minutes. However i battled through & tried desperately to make sense of what the hell was supposed to be happening. I failed, whilst i managed to get a gist of what I supposed was to be doing I wasn't able to gleen anymore than that. Also I was massively dissapointed by the 'grand conclusion' which made about as much sense as a nuclear powered orange.
If I could give minus stars I would. I would not recommend this game If you play games for more than the shiny moving pictures.

arrived wellin time, really cheap & an amazing game. game play is excellent & story line is good, makes you jump all the time, good purchase if you like your 1st person shooters to be a bit more than just tanks & armys, i really hope they continue the series
