Great fun! - By: Mrs. Y. Hefford, 01 Jan 2009
I bought this game for my 7 year old daughter. It's really good fun! The tutorial goes on a bit, but you can skip it,as my daughter did, & get straight into the dancing. It's highly addictive as you get to unlock more songs, & also the levels of difficulty go up depending on how well you perform. The songs are cover versions, but very good covers, so don't spoil the game at all. We all love this game including my 11 year old son!!
great for young fans and adults who don't mind making an idiot of themselves! - By: Lucy Evans, 29 Dec 2008
I bought this game for my step daughter this christmas as we are both fans of the films. I had seen a preview of the game on-line & it did look a little complicated. However, after our initial frustration we soon realised that it was quite simple & if you playedin time to the music you soon progress quickly. My step daughter is 8 years old & was coping very well with the junior level, I, however, have now advanced onto senior level after I worringly realised I had spent 5 hours on the gamein two days. My husband is not happy! My only disappointment was that it is not the original cast members singing the songs, though you quickly get over that as you become more obsessed with the rountines. This one is really strictly for High School Musical fans though, otherwise it may drive you a bit crazy.
OK if your a HSM fan - By: Mr. J. A. Berry, 17 Nov 2008
Like the review above by Jazzy Jazz it is a good game if you like HSM.
Unlike Jazzy Jazz I am not a salesman therefore I can inform people first hand that you will not like this if you want to do proper Karaoke etc.
The songs seem tinny & the tutorials are americanised they seem to cater for the above 12's so anyone younger may need adult assistance.
Overall it's ok but there are better games of this genre out there.
Still it's HSM so will sell just for the name.
High School Fun! - By: Jazzy, 14 Nov 2008
I bought this game for some young HSM fans to play but decided to give it a try myself! There are 29 songs & different levels. (I was playing it for about an hour & a half & began to realise that my muscles were going to remind me about that tomorrow!)

I read somewhere about the controls being awkward. They're not - it's all about co-ordination & it does take a little while to get the hang of. There are a number of tutorials to teach you what to do & it's best to have a go at each one at least once (so you know what's comingin the game). I found that I never did very wellin the tutorials - I started to get the hang of it when I played the game. Once you get going, it's really good fun (and quite easy to get a good gradein the Junior level).

I think that it's a good family game which teaches co-ordination & rhythm. HSM fans will love it!
