I picked this up because ever since the Wii has come out, I thought it would be perfect for lightsabre battling.
Unfortunately, this game becomes the latestin a long line of disappointing Star Wars titles (only decent star wars game I've played is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (PC))
I hoped it would be realistic (well, as realistic as fighting with lightsabres can be!), but instead I ended up powering through the levels just by waving the remote as fast as I could. There is very little finesse or skill to the game, which is the most disappointing thing.
Also disappointing are the graphics & voice acting, it's all so dreary.
In summary - don't bother, it's just not anything very interesting.

This game just isn't quite right. The on screen characters don't reproduce what you do with the controller using their lightsabers - like eg the batterin WII Sports Baseball does with his bat. The character movements are definitely interpreted.
The game doesn't take as much advantage of the WII controller as it should have done. This could have been made using the Playstation 2 controller just as effectively.
That said - once past that disappointment, the game is fun, if short & easy. I suspect most of the value will comein 2 player duels.

Well, what can I say, cannot believe I foolishly paid £30 for this shovelware. Limited playablility, poor controls, very, very annoying speech which is just repetitive & mediocre graphics (even for Wii standards). My son has played it a few times but when I asked him why he hasn't played it recently he said it was repetitive. We did have a quick duel on it last night which prompted me to write a quick review to save other parents hard earned cash being wasted on this shovelware. Really sorry but I cannot see how other reviewers have given it five stars, they must be easily pleased. If you are looking for a game for your kids this Christmas then look elsewhere, if you really do want to get this game then pay no more than a tenner.

I am perplexed, having read the most idiotic negative comments made by one individual about this game. I feel that it would be wrong not to give a decent appraisal of a superb game.
There are no issues at all with game control, this game is very responsive to positive movements of the Wii controller. Blocking movements against opponents attacks work effortlessly. Stringing combination attacks against opponents works seamlessly too.
Beat a character & one will be unlocked for you to use later nice. I particularly like the opponents taunts against you, these spur you on to think about what you are doingin a duel. The opponents AI is very good, so if you think that you can bash a few buttons & then brag to your mates that the game is easy think again! I recommend this game it is great fun. Control issues indeed! Now the person that said that is speaking TOSH!

best wii gamein a long time is great fun. Even though it would be better if it was full of all the sabre fightin the saga it is still brill
