FIFA 09 - By: Mr. P. J. Bagnall, 21 Mar 2010
You are able to jump straight into this game without any prior knowledge or experience of the EA FIFA titles.
In fact, the last FIFA game I played was 'FIFA 1998 - Road To World Cup', on the SEGA Mega Drive I believe!
With many game modes & challenges to complete, this game certainly keeps you entertained & you feel a paralleled progression between your team & yourself throughout a season.
It may seem that playing football matches over & over again can become a bit tedious, but every now & then, something marvellous happens, which makes the game worth while.
Unfortunately, the latency between pressing buttons is quite annoying. For example, if you are pressing X to tackle & you suddenly comein to possession of the ball, the game will register that action as a pass. Not what you want when you are on the attack!
Apart from that small bugin the coding, the game is very fun, playable & will hold your attention for many seasons to come!
Right, I'm off to make Walsall the English champions!
fifa 09 better than fifa 10 - By: Wendy Rees, 06 Mar 2010
fifa 09 is better & more fun than fifa 10.
fifa 10 is momentum driven scripted drivle.
fifa 09 is less scripted but every so often you will hit the post 10 timesin a match & still lose.
Gotta love it - By: Vanhoutte Frederic, 16 Oct 2009
After playing it on pc fifa is 100 time better on ps3 what a difference!
nice graphic, nice gameplay - By: Jijaji, 14 Sep 2009
It's some improvement from the FIFA 08 versionin concerns of graphics & KI (could still be better, though).
About all the additional stuff that EA has obviously put lots of effortsin (e.g. online update of player's sttistics?), I am not really convinced.
But regarding the core features: I like it.
