Are they even allowed to sell this game? - By: j.stuart, 01 Jan 2009
When i saw a ad for this game on tv, I thought it looked really good with good graphics & lots of sports to play. unfortunately i was very wrong. I spent £30 on this & its only worth 20p because its rubbish. Bad graphics, terrible games, unrealistic driving on the Carts & dirt bike. Don't waist your money like i did on this. you will only be disappointed

Have played this gamein Canada (Deca sports).
Karting is absolutely rubbish - worst wii game ever
motocross a close second to karting, terrible
basketball chaotic & inaccurate to control
football & volleyball havent played
ice skating is ok but quite frustrating
archery is okay & can be competitive with 2 or more
curling is really good. accurate gameplay, skill & judgement required etc. this one event is the reason why i cant give 1 star overall.
but then if u dont like curling, then its of no use. Having seen how much this game is being sold for, its a bit steep. Would buy mario karting ahead of this one.

We got this game last saturday & rushed home to play it,we sold it on e bay 4 days ago (wednesday)this game was nothing compared to wii sports & we were very disappointedin it.
The graphics are terrible.
We paid £30 for it as well gutted!!!
One to avoid.
A boring and very unatmospheric gaming experience. - By: PopCultureLover, 20 Jun 2008
This game is a selection of sports mini games that are very much inferior to Wii sports. None of the games are exciting to play & with the absence of cheering crowds egging you on it feels like there's not much pointin making an effort to win. The circuit races follow very plain routes with very bare environmental decoration, the playersin the football seem like they're running through treacle. The Curling is incredibly tedious.
In the Ice Skating you use the nunchuck to skate & you twist the remote to perform spins & jumps, admittedly this control system works very well but any potential for freedom of expression is quickly snatched away by the rigid requirement that you must follow a pre-set path & do pre-set jumpsin a pre-set order. The Basketball also has quite a good control system but the absence of crowd noise, shoe squeaks & a commentary dissolves the fun out of it.
Personally I prefer targets & something to aim forin Sports games & this game provides nothing of that.
I would not recommend this game but I would look for more well designed, graphically realistic & involving titles that use some of the control methods demonstratedin Sports Island.
