Best RPG since Tales of Symphonia - By: Nintenperson, 04 Jan 2009
What can I say about this stunning masterpiece of a video game... Where to start I wonder... Ok after hours of playing this amazing game it has been so much fun, I have still not completed it, but I am working on a few other games as well. Game play is great, it takes some time to get used to the controls, what with the pins having similair effects eg. a slash on the touch screen being treated as a movement of the character. Allin all one of the greatest RPG's of all time, but what do you expect from the guys that brought you Kingdom Hearts? (Which I love). The game also features some great musicin the game & is on sale right now on Itunes & CD. I highly recommend this great title.
The single reason to buy a DS :D - By: A. K. Massoudi, 25 Dec 2008
This game is just amazing. If you're a Square Enix fan, it's a gotta-have. Everything you want from a great action RPG is here. You got a great story, great characters, entertaining & sometimes pretty deep dialogue. You got possibly one of the most awesome soundtracks Ive ever heard & the battle system is just amazing. There is nothing like slashing & poking the stylus at your enemies to make levelling up so much fun! Graphically, the game works like some anime & it's all just real pleasing to the eye. And the best thing is, the game can be as long as you want it to be. You can choose to follow the story directly, or you can take partin missions to gate rare items & just have a bit more fun! You can change the game setting throughtout the game at any time you want as many times as you like, making killing those harder bosses a bit easier. And when you finish the game, you get a nice little treat;) This game is brilliant, especially for the price & soo sooo addictive! Buy it! You gotta!:D
Great Gameplay, ruined by the story. - By: Mr. J. Leeming, 14 Dec 2008
The World Ends With You features a fun & stylish combat system, its just a shame its spoiled by the endless talking about meaningless dribble with the occasional "emo" phrase spoken by the main character, who by the way just wants to be left alone.
Could of been a great game, but someone who is clearly a massive fan of terrible Anime came along & whacked the game with a massive hammer of sub-standard Anime dialogue.
Another 5 star review! - By: Lou, 25 Sep 2008
Being new to the DS which I got a few months ago I was getting very bored with Brain Training every day & started searching for a RPG & saw the excellent reviews for The World Ends With You. I must say it is every bit as good as everyone says. Completely addictive & a great storyline. As previously mentioned the dual play takes a little getting used to but it is great practising & you will win stuff along the way which will help you out. One piece of advice - keep saving as much as you can - you don't want to lose your hard work!
Amazing game. - By: Mrs. Nesreen Kuwatly, 06 Sep 2008
The combat is as good as an action game's combat, the story has a lot of twists, the game has a lot of replayability & the world & objections are set up like no other JRPG. It makes every other RPG out now seem a lot blander. There are no random battles & combat isn't turn based so you can recommend it to people who don't like the genre.
