This game, with the added addition of the steering wheel,is immense fun & addictive as any game ive ever played. Got new tracks, and some of the snes old school courses too. My parents got well involvedin it too when they came round to visit,so get it,buy an extra steering wheel & get some mates round, hours of fun!!

This is a fantastic game & although the wheel takes a bit of getting used to it kept me & my family enertained for hours. I am definately going to buy another so i can compete against others rather that alone.

A whole new level of 3D racing - By: Caroline Galwey, 05 May 2010
-The following review was written by my twelve year old son-

I first played this game when I was given it as a birthday presentin March. Since then, I have made quite good progress & unlocked nearly all of the fourteen hidden charaters (including Mii outfits) & most of the 9 hidden bikes & 9 hidden karts.
To get bad points out of the way, I don't like the fact that each character does not get their own kart. There are three weight classes (light, medium & heavy) & each weight class has its own set of karts. The only obvious diffrence between characters' karts is the colour. Another downer is that you are always being bombarded by multiple items, including red shells, characters transformed into bullets, or the dreaded BLUE SHELL, from which there is virtually no escape. Computer characters using items will cause endless spin-outs, which gets a bit annoying after the third hit. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but items certainly can make the game very hard.
Apart from that it is a great game. There are sixteen courses from previous consoles, & sixteen brand new ones, most of which are stunningly complex. Among my favourites are Coconut Mall, Koopa Cape, Maple Treeway & an all new Rainbow Road. The graphics for some of these courses are truly amazing, & there is no longer the "cardboard cut-out" aspect that made the scenery look two-dimensionalin previous consoles like the DS.
I also like this game because there is no blood, horror or deathin it. If you fall into lava or water you are lifted out again without any damage except a dropin rank, & if you are hit by bombs or such, you simply spin out & are then allowed to continue.
The replay value of Mari Kart Wii is excellent. There are plenty of unlockables to keep you busy, & you can also play on the "Time Trials" mode to try & get a high score on every track & unlcok the expert staff data. Even if you are bored of single player mode, you can race or battle against friends & relations online! There are monthly competitions to be entered as well, so with enough skill, you could earn continental or even worldwide fame!
Yet another high point is that you get to play as your Mii (a virtual version of you). There are tons of great things about this game, & if you want my personal opinion, I just say BUY IT!
