C'est Bon! - By: Dr. M. A. Jawad, 22 Jul 2008
Well, i got this to unbrick my PSP after a failed upgrade, & i thought i might as well get a custom firmwire aswell. You have to create a magic memory stick, which applications can do for you, & then all you have to do is charge the battery & put eh magic memory stick on & install.
By the way, to charge the battery, you turn the PSP on with a normal battery in, then plug your psp into the mains, & while it is plugged in, take the normal battery out & putin the Pandora/Tool battery.
It does exactly what its meant to do.
Not a con as some say. Awesome battery - By: J. Fernandes, 20 Jul 2008
This battery works fine & does what it says. The people that say that this is a rip off need to get a grip. Yes, you can create one but if you don't have custom firmware already how are you supposed to do that!!!
This is very useful for the people that can't create a pandora battery out of a normal one & this battery is probably even cheaper than the normal batteries.
When buying one of these you are not limited, you can resell it or keep using & unbricking your mates or anyone else's psp.
Don't pay attention to the people whining, some people just do it for fun.
Great price & great item, what else can we expect.
5 Does what it says, but.... - By: Pieter Stoaling, 03 Jul 2008
It works, however, don't ever be expecting to use it as a spare battery. Your PSP will not boot into the menu using this battery, it is ONLY for service mode. But with your custom firmware on the PSP... Never another worry about buying a game ;)
Allows a Novice to enter the world of Custom Firmware - By: S. Doherty, 27 Jun 2008
I bought the standard tool battery when I needed the slim battery, but I was still able to use it by using elastic bands to hold the batteryin place while the Firmware installed. It's great if you want a reliable tool battery, but don't want to risk destroying your own battery.

A note of warning: you need to have the "magic memory stick" to allow the battery to do anything other than show a blank screen. There are many different ways of creating this stick, which can be found on google.
