I never got to play the first installment of this game but Ive got to say that this game is awesome. Its very creepy, looks great, fun & easy to play & the story was very interesting. A must have for horror fans. One of my favorite game ever!

I liked the concept of this game. a down & out drunk fighting evil & it does work to an extent. The game is actually quite good to play but let down, as one reviewer has already commented. by the poor controls when fighting. By the time you have figured out where an attacker is, they have moved! This is more apparent when fighting with a gas mask on - you can see very little. There is a CSI element to break the monotony & lots of disorienting sessions. Good yes but great No. And it really is an 18+ game.
the best scary part in game history - By: flavaj, 20 Feb 2010 the scariest part of the game is when the BEAR is chasing youin some house, i never been scared from a game till now, butin the same time it was really funny, thats tha only reason why i bought this game.....

Massively Gory - Like a Horror Movie - By: A. Ruette, 10 Nov 2009 I was late jumping on the Condemned 2 game. I had never played the original & was worried that I would have missed loads of back-story. This was not the case.
There were 10's of hours worth of gameplayin this title. Some areas had me playing it over & over again while I tried to work out how to complete it. Only a few times did I become frustrated - but this was mainly to my poor gaming skills rather than the game itself!
Combatin the game features Melee Weapons & and firearms. The melee weapons do make a mess of the opponent but can only be used a few times before they break & you are back to fist or finding another improvised weapon. There are lots of items you can use as weapons so you are usually not far away from a helping bar or lampshade.
As I mentionedin the title, this game is very much like a horror movie. There is great character interaction, spooky baddies, a Cult called 'The Oro' & your own little Alcohol demon which appears from the very start as a continuing theme through-out the game. Play it with the lights off, the curtains drawn & the surround sound turned up. You will get frightened!
The only thing strange about this game is that as it was an (almost) launch title there are lots of people who have perhaps overlooked it. Buy this game for the storyline & the game-play - You wont regret it.
