The main game itself is a little short but visually stunning. The real value of the game is the unlimited online play & the huge number of online opponents, games & servers to choose from. Completing all the online challenges is good for days if not weeks of gameplay.
CoD4 represents the next step in FPS gameplay and storyline wise - By: The_KFD_Case, 04 Nov 2008 So many things can be, & have been, said of Call of Duty 4. Personally I find CoD4 a refreshing break from the usual WWII sludging & slugging we've come to expect from the CoD series. Excellent as those pieces may be it was the contemporary setting of CoD4 that got me interested & what a treat it was too! Three words sum up my thoughts & experiencesin regards to Call of Duty 4: Frenetic. Fast. Fun. A big two thumbs up for this title; I'm glad I purchased it.

I won't tell you that this game is not fun. but its far too short, by the time it gets going its over.
It has no replay value so the first time is the best time, saver it while you can.
It just shows that they are now aiming for the console market & the PC gamer is not welcomein the new world order.

Bought this game with no expectations & really enjoyed the playing experience from start to end & didnt tire at all. This game succeeds where many others fail & convert action/entertainment/suspense into a FPS experience rather than a dull shooter with cool gfx. That said the game looks sweet, especially on the sniper level.. loved that one.
The whole game tangles the plot & action scenes together well & mixes up the levels well, you are neverin the same dull area but switching between two character & multiple missions. This keeps the interest & challenge level very high, however the downside is that the overall game is shorter than most titles.
There are some niggles with choice being limited with range but mostly the options are pretty good. This really throws into the special forces/sniper role & you do feel quite immersedin the game.
I've not even tried multiplayer but would recommend a purchase for nay FPS fan.
