Poor, there is some potential but... - By: genejoke, 31 Aug 2008
Sadly poor level design & constant hand holding stop the game from being great. The game never lets the player off the leash & you feel restricting by the developer. The multi player aspect is far better but who is playing it? no one anymore. Rare need to have more faithin the ability of gamers.
Underrated gem - By: bulletDodger, 11 Feb 2008
This game really is great & has given me & my friends tons of fun. The single player levels are really varied & you can play through the entire single player with a friend -in the same room & also online.
The multiplayer is amazing! Two different modes depending on whether you want an arcade feel or a more realistic experience - I play these all the time onlinein split screen with my 2 friends round.

Fantastic multiplayer will keep you playing for months
Really varied single player (including split screen co-op & co-op over live).
Bargain Of The Century! - By: Mr. A. R. Castor, 27 Dec 2007
Ive had this game for a year, bought it second hand, the limited edition.
I'd go for that if you can get it, it contains a DVD (which ive never seen!) & the box & packaging will ensure you never want to sell it.
Recently (Dec 2007) I've really got into it & its FANTASTIC! The music is superb, the weapons amazing, & the controls are very easy to master.
The 2nd stagein the nightclub has to be heard & seen to be believed!
Im pretty sure that a piano version of the power of love by frankie goes to hollywood is used throughout the game, it sounds like it anyway, & greatly atmospheric.
The best thing about this game is that its available for LESS THAN A TENNER! Having completed it, I will never sell it as to me it will always be worth much much more than that. Forget the over-rated Bio-Shock & Halo 3, this one, for £7 or more, is a must.
By the way, have you ever kinda fancied a cyber girl??? This redhead is HOT!
Weak campaign but very strong multiplayer. - By: Owen A. Manby, 06 Jun 2007
Perfect Dark Zero is a prequel to the N64 classic Perfect Dark. However, while still developed by Rare studios it shares very few of the original developers. It has also suffered for this, Perfect Dark Zero feels like a relic. A first person shooter from a different generation of consoles. It has no caught up with the fast paced Halo generation & doesn't really compete. The campaign is very weak, little ties the missions together except for a distracting voice briefing & the levels are often poorly designed with confusing objectives.
The strong side of the game is foundin the greatly entertaining multipayer, using Xbox live Perfect Dark Zero is great fun. The maps are wonderfully well designed, the playing is smooth & the games are very fun. Unfortunately this is hampered by a glitch that affects many people only allowing them to match up with people randomlyin games.
Perfect Dark is worth buying on the classics range, it is a fair shooter though its strengths liein multiplayer.
