I consider myself so lucky, afterall i didnt order this game!It was a mistake!Oh, thank u amizon!I did at first concider sending it back the next day without playing it but i thought whats the point.so i did play it & at first i was wondering what on earth was going on but i soon caught on & whizzed my way through the first level until i got alittle stuk on the secon level (why cant i draw my sword,why cant i pick up the gunin the office!)but still it was a good game & im sure one of u gamers out there could answer these questions because even theo i had to send the game back i have just ordered it!
plus redsteel,is actually was better than the game i was sopposed to getin the first place!
i actually thougt the the controles on this game were very good because the shooting lock makes it easy to kill people!And as a gamer first to chinesse gangster games i think the whole comic book stlyle movies work well with it & the graphics are quite good too.the only thing i didnt like was the main menu when you first get into the the game, i first thought this was a game mistake because it was allin chinese but i soon discovered that there was subtitles at the bottom of the screen whenever u selected a option.the only thing i cant comment on is the multi player but i have read some if the other comments & it sounds promising. i cant wait to play this game once again.
p.s cant wait for red steel 2!and whats wrong with all u people who dont like this game.huh!
Brilliant! - By: Jamie?, 02 Nov 2009 Red Steel is a Brilliant game. I personally didn't find the controls difficult to master & found them relatively simple. I'm no gamer either, infact I haven't completed the game yet as I got stuck on the bit with the ninja & the poison blade. I think the story is fantastic & one level especially creeped me out a little, the one where you have to survive the crazy guys game. I love how its quite interactive & you begin to feel your really there. Overall I think this is a good game with a brilliant story & a great feeling of satisfaction when you complete a level. Definatley give it a go!

I enjoyed this game quite a bit....even though the voice acting was poor, it offered me several hours of fun gameplay as it had several inovative features that i haven't seenin similar games, like for example the ability to force your enemies to surrender by disarming them.Also the sword duels were quite interesting & fun. Allin all i enjoyed this game & i suggest you take a look at it.I trust you won't regret it!

Red Steel has a great violent story where you & your fiancee are mixed upin a yakuza gang war. You get to use two swordsin sword fights & you move the Wii controlsin the direction that you want to strike your swords. Most of the time this works very well but sometimes it does'nt seem to do what you want it to do. The controls mainly don't work so good if you try to move to fast or aren't precise enough with your movements. There are a good selection of guns which are a real joy to use with the excellent Wii controls & like other 1st person shooters on the Wii the controls make the game feel more real. One of the things that I thought was really cool with Red Steel is the way the game characters call out your name which is pretty clever stuff. This is the first game I have come across which does this as normally you would have your namein just the type, but to have itin the speech of the different charcters really impressed me. The four player mode is brilliant it's just a shame you can't go online like you can with Quantum Of Solace. I expect when Red Steel 2 comes out this year it will be online & they are meant to be improving the controls for the sword fighting battles.

its just really rubbish, has a few nice features but mostly it was just to show of what the wii is capable of doing with a few neat tricks that make it a lil fun but not a game worth buying if u ask me
