Seriously addictive - By: Matt, 26 Jun 2008
McDonalds of the gaming world, only more addictive. Starts off as fun, but its far less cutsey cash cow nature soon reveals itself.
An excellent addition to WoW - By: S. Ash, 26 Mar 2008
Let me just start by answering a previous reviewer by saying that the reason the graphics do not rival the likes of Crysis or Bioshock is to make the game accessible to as many players as possible. Not everyone has PCs that are on the cutting edge & so the idea was to have as many playersin the world as possible at any given time so as to help each other out.

Anyway, as for the expansion pack it introduces two extra races, an extra profession but more important is the level rise to 70 & the addition of the world of Outland.
If you are just starting World of Warcraft buy this too, I did & it makes for a smoother experience as you can choose the extras from the beginning. Outland itself is very involving & the extra missions & characters are a welcome addition. Tonly criticism I'd have is the final boss is perhaps a little too isolated for my liking. I would have enjoyed seeing his influence through the zones, but never mind. That is apparently to be rectifiedin Wrath of the Lich King due for release later this year.

I would also say that if you are to join this world, ask around work & your friends as someone may already play this game & believe me it is much more fun when you play online with someone you already know
Best game ever - By: Emil Dico, 07 Jan 2008
World of Warcraft is the best MMORPG game on market from allready 3 years.. NO DOUBT. If you want to be an actor on the TV you watch everyday, if you want to be the heroin the book you read from time to time, well this is the game you should buy, because will fill your free time & will replace your loved tv & best book.

Even if players had bigger expectations for this expansion from Blizzard, is acceptable & good enough.

Required: internet to play & around 9 euros/month.
A QUALITY ADDITION TO THE WARCRAFT UNIVERSE - By: stuart, 29 Dec 2007
World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is a well-made, entertaining expansion to the original game. Blizzard is known for taking their time with their games, & this one is no different; they announced the release of "Crusade" way backin October 2005, & it wasn't 15 months later, on January 18, 2007 that it was releasedin stores. Nonetheless, as all of Blizzard's games prove to be, it was well worth the wait.

I have few complaints. Queues, lag, bugs, & server crashes were inevitable when the expansion first came out; that just comes with the package when you buy an Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. Butin my own experience, there actually weren't too many of these technical problems. This may be because my main server, Nathrezim, have always proved to be a good one.

Some people say that the Burning Crusade is like a big patch. I suppose so, but don't count on downloading a patch consisting of new races, zones, instances, items, professions, mounts, cities, monsters, & NPCs very quickly. All this was well worth a trip to the store & the $40 it cost me.

I could go into detail about every little thing that was added, but my bottom line is, which, I am sure you have already gathered, is that Burning Crusade is a great addition to the WoW legacy.
Addictive at first... - By: Mr. M. Munn, 20 Nov 2007
Well I have to agree 100% with another post on here that says you spend so much time doing the same thing over n over againin the hope you will find a special item (armour, weapon, spell ect) that after a couple of weeks you'll be bored out of your mind.
When I stared playing I was addicted straight away, but once I realised how many times I was doing the same thing over n over again & generally just wasting time, my attention span vanished; I bought the new FM2008 instead which is awesome...but that's a side issue.
Graphics are good, game engine is good but to get farin the game you need to join a good guild/team who are willing to help you through difficult tasks/quests/instances & there are not many of those. Try & befriend someone with a level of at least 20 or 30 when you start & this will make life much easier, but again the problem is folk are not interestedin going through old quests over n over again.
Don't join a guild called Battlehymn because you will get next to know help from any of the high level folk. I asked for help on many quests & not once did anyone bother to help me out...so I left.
Don't think I'll be renewing my subscription either, the game is to repetative & will eventually bore you to tears. Some quests are so far away you have to run to them which can take a while, then you'll see higher level folks flying past you on horses, rams, birds ect which starts to get annoying.
You'll be over the moon for a month with this game then bored out of your mind. You are better off getting a FSP War game with constant action.
