I'm a true hardcore gamer, & this has a couple of great & unforgettable exclusive titles:
Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3
Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2
Spyro: A Hero's Tail
Try & grab that lot if you want this console. And at such as a cheap price, missing out is unforgivable.
Ps2 chucked aside? No way! - By: Chad Bronson, 07 Oct 2008 I love the PS2, & I wouldent give it up primarily because there is a new console coming out.
It's disturbing to see how PS2 gets chucked aside just because it's a few years old! (My mates done this, he has an XBOX... In saying that he didnt have any decent games for the PS2...) Okay, so the graphics are considered as inferior, but that's only because there been compared to a current gen console! Thats not fair. What so ever. Let us not forget that this console is nearly a decade old, & it's still powerful. If it was not as great as people are making out, then why are developers still designing games for it? They are still selling! And for £75, it is a real steal. Literally. Games go really cheap, so you would be mad not to have it.
Buy it - By: Hamoosh, 10 Apr 2008 This console is the best!!!It beats ps3 any day who needs to spent £400 on a console!!!!!!!There are so many games available on this & everything just get it! You cannot play ps2 games on ps3 so if you dont get one of these you might never play ps2 games, they are dying out!
the first of it's generation - By: T. J. Maccourt, 06 Mar 2008 i had a PS2 with MGS2 as my first game & i was blown away. the Ps2 was the first of its generation so i went from playing PS1 games & some PC games to the PS2 which was incredible at the time.
all the Xbox & gamecube owners who say that the PS2 has crap graphics need to remeber that it came out a year before both of theses consoles.
it has a huge selection of games & don't believe people who say that they are all crap or average. it has lots of great games like Metal Gear Solid 2, Devil May Cry 3, Killzone, Metal Gear Solid 3 & Dynasty Warriors 4 to name some. add to that your favourite PS1 games & DVDs & you've got alot of hours you can spend on this machine.
my PS2 did break but it was after around 4 years. i'm considering buying a new one (even though i have an XBox 360 & Xbox) just to play some of my favourite games again.

i got my first ps2in 2003 becuse someone said its better than the xbox
so i took there advise & got a ps2 & after a year i was unhappy with it,so i went got an xbox which i should have got from the start.
i got far more out of the xbox then i ever did with my ps2
which i now only use as a dvd player
i,ve only ever liked about 11 games & afew others which i wanted to see how they differ from there xbox counterparts.
but its now 2008 time to let the outdated ps2 console retire.
which the xbox did before it became to old & stale
(very smart move,mirosoft).
