Customer Reviews

Just a quick mention - By: Mr. M. L. Hanford, 04 Sep 2008
I'm not going to review the game as such,it's excellent,I have it on Dreamcast & bought the "X" version on PS2,no I'm just going to point out the version differences,The 'Cube version is full screen,no borders unlike the PS2 & overall seems to load quicker although it still has the doors/steps,also the intro is a little different again to the PS2,the controls are like the other 'Cube games,Y is inventory,C stick does a 180 etc & unlike RE2 & Nemesis the auto-aim is enabled from the start.
Excellent.
resi evil v x - By: Mark, 01 Nov 2007
This is worth getting if you are collecting all the resident evil games. Taking place after resident evil 2, the series continues to be just as addictive & exciting as the previous games. Great graphics, great gameplay & the controls are not that bad.
You get quite a few jumpy bitsin the game & there is loads to do within the game. This is worth getting if you are a resident evil fan!!
veronica x - By: R. Fisher, 07 May 2007
Picking up a few months after the events of resi 2 Claire Redfield investigating a umbrella facilityin Europe is captured & imprisoned on Rockfort island the prison is attacked & the virus is once against set loose Claire attempts to escape the island while her brother Chris sets out to find her & settle a score with former S.T.A.R.S traitor Albert Wesker.
Code veronica x is a classic resiin every sense of the word complete with puzzles, herbs, typewriters & huge mutated freaks though its much longer than the others with a massive prison & an antarctic base to explore.
This is a port of the ps2 version & if you have a ps2 there is no point at allin buying this on GC but if you don't there's every reason to buy it a great game not quiet as good as the originals addin a extra battle game mode for more bang for your buck you get a dam good resident evil game.

Resident Evil Code:Veronica X - By: , 20 Jan 2006
I have enjoyed Resident Evil since played Resi 2 on the PSone. I currently own Resident Evil (remake for gamecube), Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil 4 & this. I think capcom originally rushed this game onto the ps2 because they could. The story line looks dated & unoriginal. still a good second hand purchase
Could have done with some additions... - By: , 20 Jul 2005
OK, don't get me wrong with this title, its a great game! But.. it feels old, just like RE 2&3 on the Gamecube. I mean, it could have done with a graphic update or even new areas like with RE1 on the 'Cube. But anyway, despite no sort of updates its still an essentail RE game for any fan of the series!

This game is the sequel to the famous Resident Evil 2, it is Claire's story after the inncidentin Racoon City. Just like RE4 is Leon's sequel to RE2. After Claire reads Chris'(her brother) diaryin RE 2 & escapes from the city, she decides to go to Europe to look for him. But as she infiltrates a Umbrella Facillity she gets caught & sent to an island prison... Only to be let out by the guard! I won't explain any more of the story as it may spoil it for those who have not yet played the game. But this game takes the Resident Evil story line even further & many fans will want to play this game purly for the story! (I was no exception!) And anyone who played this will not be disapointed either. Just beware the final boss on this game! It took me several tries to kill it! (yeah ok, I know... I suck =P)

I recommend that if you are new to Resident Evil, that you play Resident Evil Zero, then progress through the games as they follow (RE, 2, 3, CV & finally 4). The RE storyline really is a classic & I will probably never forget it no matter how old I get.

Allin all, a great game. Fun to play & get invovled with. Capcom also decided to keep the same controls as usual & the same annoying yet cool camera angles.
