Very Good - By: , 21 Jan 2005
These controllers are very good & perhaps better than the originals.
The layout is different for the standard Xbox controllers, however they are smaller (which is obviously a pro) without being too small.

The only qualm i have with them is the fact that the vibration isn't as strong as the standard ones, I'm not too sure why this is, but they are still brilliant controllers.

a quality product - By: Mr. S. A. Stewart, 21 Dec 2004
A controller can be generally regarded with high esteem if it doesn't give you cause to notice it -in terms of just doing it's job & doing it reliablely - you should be able to take it for granted.

I was interested to try wireless gaming, which is brilliant if you want to sit anywhere you like whilst you play. It does give a huge element of freedom, that you soon forget & take for granted.

The only area that i was concerned about was the relay of the device, ie any lag between pressing the button & the corresponding action occurring on screen. I can't say i've really noticed any, & if it has occurred it's probably because of human error, so not really anything to get too woried about.

The pad's not the smallest thingin the world, but again you soon find yourself forgetting about this & simply getting to grips with it. I guess the only thing i can say about this contorller is it does exactly what it says on the tin. It gives you freedom to play where you want. It's at a good reasonable price - you really can't go wrong - would make an excelent Christmas present.

Xbox Freebird Wireless RF Controller - By: Mr. S. Gregory, 11 Oct 2003
This controller is a good alternative to the official Microsoft ones, it is smaller than the original XBOX controller probably the equivalent of the Official 'S' size controller. Initial thoughts after using it, it is comfy to hold & use. Good points are obviously no cable, comes supplied with batteries, good range, no delay.
Bad points it is marginally less sensitive than the official Microsoft ones, i.e. you have to press the buttons a tiny bit harder to register.
Another point would be if you have 2 of these you would need 2 receivers, it would have been nice to use the one receiver for up to 4 controllers.
Overall a very good alternative
Excellent controller - By: Mr. Thomas D. Day, 08 Aug 2003
This controller is great.. it has a great range & it is much more smaller & much more comfertable than the standard x-box controller. It has two extra buttons on the front like a PS2 controller that serve as the two smaller buttons (black & white). A great product, i advise it to u greatly!

Are you sick of the 3 metre wire trapsing behind you everywhere well, this is the pad for you. Very similar to the small official pad it's comfortable & vibrant. It is a brill pad & well worth the money if you don't really like the wire following you around.
