i am constantlty on the lookout for entertaining,longish games,we have had a lack of these recently for my favourite platform,the Gamecube.Vexx is a grossly under rated game,it is similar to Hoodlum havoc,as you have to collect 100 `shards` each level,but much harder!it is of the same ilk as Super Mario Subshine,but i would say even harder than that!.Overall,a great game,very frustrating a lot of the time,some of the levels seem impossible to me,but nonetheless,worth having,and gives hours of fun.

At first Vexx seems to have little to offer. The controls at first are stiff, & the training level (despite the excellent echoing voice) is boring. The sound effects are exaggerated & annoying but, after a while, I found the controls easier & the levels pleasing - it needs patience as it's puzzles include thin paths, tricky jumps, & perfect timing! Once you get used to the sound effects they fit perfectly with the theme of Vexx's world. This is a brilliant game, despite it's bad first impression, & I'd advise anyone who loves a *challenge* give this one a go! Once you start a puzzle you can't bear to put the controller down until you've conquered it...*vexing*...but fun :)
