Gameboy advanced... - By: Mrs. J. K. Wood, 18 Aug 2007
Bought for my daughter, she found this very good as it wasin the exact condition as described & enjoy's portable gaming when bored. I was impressed as it arrived just 2 days after I bought it, which was useful. Overall I was pleased with my purchase & would recommend this seller & item.
It would be perfect if it had a backlight.... - By: , 14 Nov 2003
This is great! If you have a plug-in-to-your-TV console, & you think that's enough, your'e wrong. YOU NEED A PORTABLE CONSOLE!! If you don't have £85 for a GBASP, get a GBA. If you dont have £65 for a GBA, don't bother for a GBC. Save up. I rated this 4 because it has perfect graphics, perfect sound & perfect everthing else exept IT NEEDS A BACK SCREEN LIGHT! Light magnifiers are good and.... ugly. You can't see your Game Boy Advance through a light. Get a GBASP if you have £105 for a GBASP+game.
Ah, sweet, sweet portable gaming goodness - By: Melissa, 26 Oct 2002
The Gameboy Advance is the biggest selling console. And theres a reason for it-its so damn good! The graphics are superb, has fairly good sound, & it's portable! You can play your favourite games anytime & anywhere! It's pure bliss!
And the games, oh, the games! There are so many great ones to choose from such as: Golden Sun, Mario Kart, Super Mario Asvance 2, Sonic Advance to name but a few.
Buy a Gameboy Advance today, & you life will change for the better!
Killer - but who came up with the screen? - By: Sparky, 28 Nov 2001
Make no mistake - the GBA is a blast. Great graphics, an emmense library of game titles & a very capable sound engine.
But the screen is AWFUL! Something should be re-worked here somewhere. Plus, the games are pretty pricey for a handheld.... wait for some of them to hit the budget shelves, & then go mental.
But that aside, it is awesome, & I have a hard time putting mine down.
A Contrasting opion - By: Dave Dunn, 28 Aug 2001
Nothing new game wise. Games are expensive £25-£35. It's biggest letdown for me is NO CONTRAST CONTROL. It was bad on the GB Colour, it's just as bad on the GBA. I cannot believe this product has passed the Health & Safety Lawsin this country. There must be many a small child going blind trying to see the screen. Or is it all on purpose so we all have to buy lights to see it.
